There have been some very interesting thoughts regarding this matter, not the least of which is considering the unparalleled amount of people going through financial crisis with their homes.  How will someone who faces this hardship, who ultimately has to file bankruptcy, walk away and give the deed back in-lieu, or file foreclosure – actually recover?  If the file bankruptcy it is at least two years before they will be able to purchase a home.  If they walk-away or file foreclosure it can be three years (and that’s from the date the bank is actually able to “sell” the property – not the filing date.)  These people will not have any other option but to live with family, friends or RENT.

This is an interesting six-minute audio clip.  Tell me what you think…Are we headed for a community based Property Management service?  CLICK HERE FOR AUDIO FILE

This is a great article from the archives of Ohio REALTOR and it can be used by YOU – the general public to 1) understand what a Realtor should be doing for you when selling your house; and or 2) what a Realtor should be doing to earn the commission they make.  Anyway you cut it – either we are way underpaid or many are not doing near enough to earn their pay!! “So what, exactly, do you do?”

Everyone is “going green” or so they want you to believe.  But there are so many more ways that we as individuals can actually do something MORE to help our environment.  I’ve taken a bit of time to put together this helpful list, they are websites that have really great information /services and may help you in your own search to become more ECO Friendly.  Let me know your feedback on any of the sites you may visit – it will help to spur others on to see someone else taking a step forward. :)

While political views vary – it is important to always support the troops as these are the young men and women who have voluntarily gone into the military for duty to serve and protect.  THANK YOU for your military service of past, present and in the future!  If there is ever anything that I personally as a Realtor or Human can do – please do not hesitate to call on me.
